The concert “Gevgelija Musical Talents” was held at the Apollonia Hotel. The audience had the opportunity to hear young musicians, former students of the Vaso Karajanov Music Academy – Gevgelija, who today continue to improve their skills in secondary music schools and faculties across the country. <\/div>
<\/div>
The performance was opened by Victoria Karakabakova, who brought “Sarabande” by Johann Sebastian Bach and “Pizzicato Polka” by Leo Delibes with her violin.<\/div>
Sanja Milenkovic, on the piano, conveyed the depth and complexity of Sergei Rachmaninoff’s “Prelude in D minor”, as well as the virtuoso lines of Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Chopin’s “Etude opus 25 no. 5”. Violinist Emilia Nikolovska performed the first movement of Felix Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto. <\/div>
Ljubica Uli\u0161 performed the first movement of Muzio Clementi’s “Sonata” on the piano, Sofia Jakimova interpreted “Elegy” by D. D\u017eakonovski-\u0160pato, while Mimi Duceva performed “Nocturne Opus 9 No. 1” by Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Chopin, “Dumka Opus 59” by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and “Etude-Silvia Opus 39 No. 5” by Sergei Rachmaninoff on the piano. <\/div>
