On Friday, December 20, 2019, in the gallery space at the Pioneer House cultural center in Gevgelija<\/strong> , the artist Pero Kovancaliev, MA,<\/strong> will present his new research in sculpture, i.e. kinetic art.<\/div>
<\/div>
Kovantzaliev’s work is diverse, his interest in visual arts from all areas is easily visible in his works. Starting from old crafts and conventional materials, techniques and technologies in sculpture in its solid physical state. Up to the stretchable and unstable materials with their changing forms in space speaks of the universal aspect of the surface and its flickering. The works collected under the title \u201cIrrational Movements\u201d represent \u201cmobile stimulators\u201d that ripple the surface with slow repetitive movements in an attempt to simulate certain natural ripples. An ironic hymn to the technocratic symbol in the consumer society. Confronting the ever-present idol of overcoming human powerlessness that has imposed itself in all spheres of everyday activity. <\/div>
