The Athletic Club “7th November” from Gevgelija has been actively participating in the popular trail races in Kukush (Kilkis, Greece) for the fourth year in a row, which attract recreational and professional runners from the entire region.
The event offered three different distances, with different levels of difficulty:
20 kilometers with 780 meters of elevation gain
5 kilometers with 180 meters of elevation gain
Due to bad weather conditions and a landslide on part of the course, the organizers had to change the 20-kilometer route, which was integrated into a 5-kilometer circular course – with four laps being run.
