The “Amam” Gallery at the Museum of Gevgelija, in cooperation with the Association for Architecture, Design and Culture “Arhifact”-Skopje, on April 11, 2025 at 5:30 p.m., will have the special honor of presenting to the public in Gevgelija the solo exhibition of the author Ana Mitevska entitled “Tales in Turquoise – Source of Life ”.
Organized by Jasminka Namicheva, author of the informal network of museums – MuseumLink, this presentation of the exhibition has been on tour in museums and cultural centers outside Skopje since July 2024. The exhibition was originally realized at the Skopje City Museum in 2024, as Mitevska’s third solo exhibition. The curator of the exhibition is Gordana Velkova.
The art stories are part of several thematic cycles, connected in coloristic structural compositions, which gradate in a melodic rhythm of the turquoise color, creating the art elements in the art space.
Each composition in the cycle flows stylistically into the next, and each cycle continues into the next, building the entire installation of works through which she transforms the amorphous artistic form into various structural surfaces, just like the transformation of the structure in the nature of the Turquoise stone, from stone to crystal.
